    .38 Short Colt question

Can .38 Short Colt be used in a Webley in lieu of the 38 S&W ?

If not, does anyone want a box of 38 Short Colt ?

They are two different cartridges. It might work depend on how loose the chamber is but, I would not recommend trying it.

I was curious about this so I tried WikiPedia:
Visually, it looks like a .38 S&W but dimensions are different. The .38 SC (short colt) case is the parent to .38 Long Colt and .38 Special.

There is no problem firing this cartridge in .357 revolvers, but the long bullet jump makes accuracy difficult.
So, in light of that info, I would say no.
There are several suppliers online for .38 S&W, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding some for your Webley.

I just checked a couple sites and they all seem to be out right now.
