Anyone looking for .577-.450 ammo? Century has it on sale until the end of the month for $15 per box of 10 rounds. It's Berdan primed, corrosive, loaded with Cordite and has a slight hesitation between the trigger pull and big boom (good to check for flinching), but it does go off and is the best deal I've found without getting the whole reloading outfit.
I fired off 30 rounds earlier this week and all went off with reasonable consistency. I was only shooting at 25 yards, but all bullets hit within 3.5" of each other with a vague point-of-aim about 14" below center for my Mk. II. My Mk. IV was less consistent, but I think that the bore size is slightly larger on the later Martini-Henrys.
