Any know what is out there for muzzle break for the mossin. I have only seen one type kinda looks like the typical ak74 break. I took the front sight off mine as I am installing a scope and need to replace is with some thing.

I'd take the rifle in and have it threadded to druganov specs then use one of those breaks.
I dont know of an aftermarket accessory -
There is one but it's designed to fit over the front post and then drive a longer pin through both the muzzle brake and the sight post - I have one built for SKS and I suppose the fit would be similar on Mosin. I've seen them on some Arsenal refurbished Mosins.
Without the front post, I'm afraid you'll have to have your barrel threaded or have a custom made muzzle brake.NRA Member

guaranteed, your accuracy will be zero by modifying the barrel like that.
harmonics will be way off.
You will be spending $40+ in modifications on a $60 gun that will shoot worse and in the end will only be worth $20 after all is said and done.
