How do I know if my handguns are C & R worthy?

I recently acquired two older handguns from my grandfather. I'm not sure what year either of them were made. Can you tell from the serial #'s?

    One is a Hi-Standard Field King .22LR cal. Model # FK-101. It's U.S. made Hamden, Connecticut.

And the other is a Llama 9mm Parabellum. I'm somewhat unsure of the model number. It came in a box saying Model XI-B (printed) with the matching serial number hand written into the blank. But, for some reason, it came with two original manuals for the III-A model which is a .380 ACP. I'm pretty sure it's a XI-B everything points to it besides the manuals. There is also a P-42 hand written in before the model number (on the box). The Llama was made in Spain. On the right side of the slide it says "GABILONDO Y CIA-VICTORIA(ESPANA)" But on the right side of the frame just above the trigger it says, "STOEGER INDUSTRIES, S.HACKENSACK, N.J., Made In Spain"

If anyone has info on how to find out when these guns were manufactured that would be awesome! Here's some pics if that helps. If not hopefully you enjoy just checking them out. lol

Just to throw it in there. I haven't gotten this yet but, I will be getting it soon. It's a Remington WW1 30.06.

The Field King was made from 1954 to 1957, so it is definitely C&R due to it being over 50 years old.

The Llama XI-B was made from 1978 to 1995 and is not listed by name on the C&R list, so it is not C&R. It was also subject to a safety recall because of a firing pin problem.
