My 1st purchase with the C&R license. Update: 2nd purchase added

I ordered it Monday and will ship out Friday. Can't wait to see it in person. Not the best K31 but good enough for me . It's a 1941 Schmidt Rubin K31, walnut stock with a beech hand guard. I ordered it from Allan's Armory http://www.allans-armory.com/aa.php

I'll post more pictures when it arrives.
btw, looks like I just (depending on condition) just purchased a Yugoslavian Mauser M24/47 from a fellow CalGunner, I will see it tomorrow.

Very nice, You won't regret have a K-31. Except the bruises on your shoulder lol.

Thanks, It was supposed to be a Schmidt Rubin 1911, but for some reason I didn't purchase it the night I saw if in stock for $269 at AIM, the next morning it was all gone .

I have my C & R application being processed by the ATF as we speak. I am thinking a k31 will be my first pickup after my FFL 03 comes in.

My turn around time was 3 weeks, from my house to my house. I hope you get yours soon . Just be aware, this thing gets addicting.

K31 is a great rifle. Most were well maintained and are real accurate. GP11 is great ammo. And even the chargers are sweet.... pick some up when you can for speedy reloads. Congrats on your purchase. You are going to be real happy with it. Now hurry and buy some battle packs of ammo.

That's so nice, puts more personality on your rifle.

They are, I'm also buying Prvi Partizan ammo, which are boxer primed.
BTW I've been seeing/reading ways to reload berdan primed cases. A few suppliers will be carrying berdan primers soon.

Nice pickup! K31 are fantastic guns (you can tell where the saying "like a Swiss watch" comes from after you handle one). I have a beech and a walnut and can't bring myself to downsize to just one. The triggers are great and they are very accurate guns. The only complaint used to be ammo prices. But as surplus has started to dry up everything is starting to cost as much as the K31 to shoot.

The K31 was my first C&R purchase also. Its good to see they have become such thought after rifles these days.

Samco sells boxes of ammo for about .48 cents a round. Just buy a box of 480 and you should be set for awhile.

Your next purchase should be a case of Top Romen noodles, so you can make your third purchase!

Nice rifle, I saw it on their website.
