    Safety FIRST/M1 GARAND DESTROYED

    Gentlemen,
    This file speaks on its own. This Video is short to save space. This was taken at SA on one of my trips. What Happened is that someone was trying to fire a dummy grenade WITHOUT the SPECIAL BLANK. It was fired using a STANDARD M2 Ball ROUND. Sometimes you must hit the replay.

          Looks like the receiver was still intact. I don't think a commercial cast receiver would have fared so well.

                      I remember reading about this happening in Africa, but with the Yugo M59/66 sks. Some idiots were using regular rounds to launch grenades.........

                          That was my first thought as well. And I'd guess the shooter suffered no injury as a result of that fact.
