The fed ex site says it will be here by 10:30 am tomorrow. Will being 18 count or do you have to be 21?

God some day I'm going to get a carbine. As a college student I find it a little bit hard to decide wether my money should go towards tuition or vintage rifles

Yeah, I am pretty much worthless at work until after the Fed Ex truck shows with my rifle. I have picked up 3 carbines and a new Garand over the past 2-3 years. It is near impossible to go wrong with a CMP purchase.

I got it about 30 minutes ago and I'll take pictures in a bit. But I been trying to find a website that tells me the manufacture date off of the serial number. Can't find anything, Stupid google.

So I field stripped and the only rust or anything dirty I found at all was behind the butt plate. Everything else is so clean I'm amazed. The stock has a Star and says "FAT 70" I dont no what it means. But its a National Postal Meter. The sights have an SA on it, Springfield Armory? Didn't no they made M1 Carbines stuff. The trigger group says "Inland" I have checked all the other parts and there is no markings at all. The bolt and barrel for example have no markings at all that I can see. Does that mean its new? The bore and the inside of the barrel looks BRAND NEW!!!!


Ok the Bolt has and "N 14" on it.
