Have a P64 Question

JG Sales has the Polish P64 listed as C&R now with a stipulation to check the California Handgun Roster to see if it legal to own in Ca. I can't find it listed, but I don't know if I'm looking in the right place. Does anyone know?

You're right - P64 hasn't been listed until recently. But your question made me check again, and bang!

I'm pretty sure any C&R hand gun is exempt from being on the roster so it should be GTG to ship to CA.

Since all C&R handguns are exempt from the roster, you probably wont' many, if any, C&R handguns listed on the roster, but they are legal none the less.

If it is 50+ years-old, or specifically listed as C&R by ATF, then it is automatically roster exempt.

But CA says that it is not legal for J&G to ship directly to a CA 03FFL. CA says that all handgun transactions must go through a CA 01FFL.

Now, if you go to J&G in person, you can buy from them direct with your 03FFL and import it back into the state yourself (just report it within 5-days).

No, look again, it is not legal for them to ship a C&R handgun to an 03FFL in California. They may ship long guns to 03FFLs in California however.
I ordered a Mosin 91/30 from them on Tuesday, it was on my porch on Friday.

Thank you everyone. I called them this afternoon and spoke with Tom. He took my order and said he would ship to CA as long as I snail mail a signed copy of my 03FFL. After reading the last few responses, I'm questioning what I was told.

They just cant send it direct. They would need to send to 01FFL as all handguns must go to 01FFL. You can buy it as it is C&R and exempt from roster. You could drive to Prescott AZ and buy one in person and take it home with you with a C&R license.
