I have my FFL-03 and will be buying a 105 yr old revolver from a CA seller. Because it is over 100yr old can he ship it directly to me with no FFL-01 transfer or DROS? Or does he have to ship it to my local FFL-01?

Quick C&R Purchase Question

For that handgun to be shipped directly to you in California it would have to be an "antique" under Federal law. For cartridge firing handguns that means it has to have been manufactured before January 1, 1899. If the handgun in question was manufactured 105 years ago, that would put the production date somewhere around 1905. You would have to do the transfer through a California licensed dealer.
Since you have a C&R FFL and that handgun is C&R you could also meet with the seller outside of California to do the transfer. Then you just send in the C&R handgun report form to CalDOJ with $19 after you bring it back inside California. That would be an option if you both lived close to the border though.__________________

100 years old means nothing for CA or federal law except that it is C&R because it over 50 years-old.
ALL handgun made after 1898 must be DROSed in CA through an 01FFL. so, unless it is currently 112+ years old, you have to have it shipped to your local dealer.Jack
Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
