Wow that is fast. One of my friends sent in his form (back in mid-March) and he is still waiting. I remember that I got my license in about 4 weeks after I submitted my forms. Still, just how did you luck out with the expediency on the side of the ATF? You must have just turned 21, lived in the same county your entire life, or possess some black-security clearance for it to be that fast........just kidding!

12 days!? WOW, I really need to get off my duff and apply. But then again, I'm not sure my wallet could afford said workout. Maybe next year.

12 days? Did you staple a $100 bill to it?

You'd think. I put it in the mail on a saturday night to boot. so probably 10 days in reality. I can't believe a gov't agency can act so fast.

I'm leaving for the post office now to send out copies to some C&R dealers

I received mine today also. I sent the form off on Thursday 6/3. I also expected sometime in July. Now to decide what to buy first.

Pardon my ignorance but what exactly is a COE and what are the advantages of having it? I just received my C&R today too. It took 10 days once my credit card was charged. Thanks , Mike

coe= certificate of eligibility from the califonia DOJ . and your 03ffl

                        this exempts you from
                        1) the ammo mail order/ internet sales
                        2)the 1 in 30 rule for handguns
                        3)10 wait for c&r guns
4)potential goodness in out of state vendors mailing you items that they deem evil but really are not
