    C&R license questions

What exactly am I getting into with this form? Am I going to have the BATF knocking on my door every year. Unfortuantely, my money situation makes it impossible to buy any firearms for several years. I was looking at using it for discounts from Brownells and Midwayusa. Am I wrong in what I am trying to do? Should I just scrap the idea and just wait til I can actually buy something?

If the ATF chooses to check up on you it won't be every year, it'll probably be never and if they choose to they must make an appointment at your convenience.

I'm into my fourth year with my license with no visit from the ATF. When I renewed, the form asked how many guns I had bought (19) and how many guns I had sold (1).
Their own rules say that they may check on you no more than once a year and the check can take place at your location or at their office, your choice. And at your convenience.
I have not heard of any "unpleasant" visits.

you can get the ffl03 and use it for discounts all you want,if you take 3 years to buy a gun they don't care, less activity is not a bad sign and the interview inspection can be done in a office and not in your home........
