CZ 52 pistol locked up today

I was shooting my cz 52 today, it ejected the last shell case and locked up, the slide was stuck half way open, I could not get the magazine out. After I got home and took a good look at what I had, I discovered the take down pin for the hold open catch had worked itself loose from the the peening on the right side of the gun, causing the hold open catch to twist a little. I punched the pin out, it was bent a little.
The slight bend in the pin shortened it just enough to allow the pin to become loose. I own three of these guns so I bought an armorers kit last year. I installed a new hold open catch and take down pin. Everything is fine once again.

Those CZ-52 armorer kits are worth their weight in gold. I have a kit, too. My kit provided me with all the parts including the rollers to install the 9mm barrel conversion. Immediately, that was around a $40 saving in parts.

How does the 9mm feed? I paid 125.00 for my armorers kit.

I just bought this fixes and prevents it from happening. Doesnt look pretty but it always locks back

How does the 9mm feed? I paid 125.00 for my armorers kit.

Mine doesn't have any problems with 9mm except with one of my magazines. I think its some sort of aftermarket magazine. original magazines work fine.
