    C&R Purchase question

It's been so long since I purchased a C&R handgun inside CA, I cannot remember the process for a C&R Licensee to make a private party purchase. Does the handgun still need to be DROS'd by a FFL Dealer or can I make the purchase and submit a form or is it a simple private transaction with no paperwork required? Thanks for the help.

If you are buying the C&R handgun inside California then you need to do the PPT through a Dealer just like unlicensed folks have to. But you still have to log it into your bound book.

    And welcome to CalGuns!

Unless you have a COE too. If you have a C&R and COE do you don't need to wait the 10 days.
