MY !st rifle/gun ever shows up - Service Grade Garand

i placed my order back in late November of '06. the cmp said that they were out and that all orders were cancelled....
fast forward 4 1/2 months. i'll in bed on my 1st day off in 2 1/2 years and my door bell rings...it's FEDEX....with a HUGE box!!!! it's here.
i sign for it and obscond into my bedroom. i open it up and find a nicely worn (i like them that way - adds charater) springfield m1 .30 caliber, SN 3,523,XXX, February, 1945 it looks like. Barrell is SA 12 44. parkarizing is good. stock has proof p and an arsenal rebuild cartouch. a few dings ans what-not.

i'm all smiles, especially since i have no idea what to do with it now...
where's my captain-chrunch?!?!?

Congrats!!! I got my second service grade recently as well. I do hope they get more in as I would hate to think there will be no more service grades.
