    Not digging what you linked. Someone rebarreled a K31 for performance from "old worn out barrels"? Must've been all the action that those rifles saw shooting down the mountain at the Germans stationed 5,000 yards away.

      $900 seems like way too much. Not worth it in my opinion.
      Gun does just fine with 7.5 for less than a third of the price.

          An operation in AZ imported K31s in .308 for several years in the 80s and 90s. Cool rifles but expensive even back then.

            To me, rechambering kind of destroys the historical interest in a weapon. I make an exception for something like a .308 Garand, because many Garands were actually re-chambered in later service. But a .308 K31? Meh...to me, it just becomes another rifle. It's no more interesting than a Remmy 700 made last year. Probably still a good rifle, but not justified at $900 when it has no historical value.
