So I want to get a new carbine, I was wondering if trading a K98 plus $200 in cash would be a fair trade for a carbine?

Just wandering around the net, I come up with a CMP Carbine going for $500-600 and a K-98 going for $300-400 so depending on the condition of each it seems like a fair exchange. You just have to find someone willing to make the trade. Good luck.

that would depend on the condition of both weapons I guess. a russian captured k98 with missmatched numbers + $200 might be a bit optimistic to trade for a clean USGI m1 carbine. However I wouldnt trade my all matching 1938 S-142 in excellent condition for a rebuilt m1 carbine...somewhere in between these value you may be able to work a good trade

I've been trying since march man, i dont understand why I havent gotten a new job, Im an Eagle Scout, I graduated a year early, 3 years of criminal justice, Management in 9 month with a major corporation, and I cant even get a job at jamba juice or prime shine! I getting really discouraged, haha im about to just post my resume on here and see if someone will hire me LOL!

I would save up your money. It's going to take a while, but you will regret getting rid of the mauser in the long run.

I know I will, I do and dont regret getting rid of my carbines, i do in the sense i dont have them anymore and my mother in law said if I wouldve let her know she would have held them for me and given me the money unitl I could pay her back, and I dont regret it because I made a princess very happy
