    C&R Rant

I got mine one week after the State decided no pistols unless shipped to an FFL! That defeated the whole purpose as I was after a CZ52 when they were going for around $129.00. Now I can buy a pos CZ52 for $239 plus another $60.00 for the Governator. Not happening.
I'll keep it current just in case.

what are you talking about? AFAIK, it has been like that for years. It didn't just happen in the last couple weeks.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

Yeah, I'm with ke6guj on this one, C&R pistols have had to be shipped through 01 FFLs for years. You can still go out of state, buy them and bring them back(filling out the proper form and mailing in a check, of course) without going through an 01.

The c&r will also get you some good discounts from places like midway and brownells just to name a couple . it will pay for itself just with that , as far as buying guns I have only used mine to fufill part of the reqiurments for orders from the cmp in the 7 nor so years I have had it.

also welcomes a BATFE audit if they get hard up for things to do. i'll wait 'til i move out of state. won't be able to get much in the way of pistol ammo here in a year anyway, not so much worried about the pistols.

BATF is federal... won't matter if you're here or in a free state, if the BATF wants to audit, they can audit.

Also, the 03 audit regulations are different than those of an 01/07/0whatever... They can't simply come into your home and inspect your collection. They make initial contact, and you can (and should) schedule an appointment at the field office.
Take your bound book and your collection and let them inspect to their heart's content.

03 FFL and COE are an exemption to AB962 (assuming it goes into effect). I doubt that all out of state sellers will recognize it, but at least some will.

That's great to hear....I just filed for my COE...anyone that has a C&R should get their COE...it bypasses the 1 in 30 rule...I got 3 pistols just waiting to get DROS'd.
