    F7CR, Section 9 help..

So I ordered the C&R forms for my step dad and have some questions about Section #9 in particular.

    (Copied from Form 7CR)
    9. Provide Information Required for Each Individual Owner, Parnter, and Other Responsible Person in the Buisiness (Including the individual named in item 1.) See Definition #7 for Responsible Persons.

So can I be added as a Partner on his C&R form? I'm 18, 19 in June so i can't apply for my own.

I can't find anything that says its not possible, but what do you guys think?

I have to copies of the F7CR. So if anyone thinks its worth a shot, I'll try sending one in with me as a partner.

I have some familiarity with partnership law and I would expect that ATF would need both Partners to be otherwise eligible to have applied on their own.

People can't use a C&R FFL to operate a firearms business, but businesses can use a C&R FFL to collect firearms for the business (for instance, a private museum or as investments) as long as they don't cross over into operating a firearms business.

So Section 9 on the application is set up so that a business can fill it out if necessary. So you can't just "partner up" for the C&R FFL. You would already have to be a partner or "Responsible Person" in an existing business.

And like Hoffmang says, everybody on the FFL would have to be eligible on their own too.
