Help IDing a mark

I have a blackpowder rifle that my grandfather found in a old winery that he purchased. The only markings that I can find are the numbers 1859 on the side in front of the hammer and a crown with what appears to be a clover leaf on the crown topped by a cross. The cross is on the side behind the hammer. It is a cap and ball.
