From all I have seen they aren't worth the $ and would only go with CMP.

What have you seen and where? I am not seeing any actual first hand experience w/ SOG Garands on that thread.

Has anyone bought a Garand from SOG?

All you need to know:

The SOG Garands are junk- get a Field Grade or Service Grade from the CMP. You will get a Garand in better condition. Don't waste your money.

Ok, I'm convinced. I couldn't get search to work w/ me using SOG.

Thanks for that link.

Yeah, the vBulletin search engine leaves a lot to be desired. At least you tried...
