I am looking for more info on these firearms. Does anyone own one, and does anyone know a good place to get one?

SR-41 is a semi auto version of the Ppsh-41 made by Interordnance. Don't think they are making them any more, but they are selling the recievers.
Pretty tough to own in CA because of the 30 or 71 round mags and the short barrel (well under 16").

You will have to find 7.62x25 tokarev magazines 10 rounds or under and I'm sure they won't be cheap.
I remember there was an issue with this rifle not being cal legal. I think it might be the length. I don't remember. Anyways I'm not even sure if they ship to california.Originally posted by KestryllThe volume of blood necessary to achieve erection would cause you to either pass out or if you didn't and managed to maintain an erection you would likely die from lack of oxygen to the heart and brain.Originally posted by ivanimalJust be glad you are not his next door neighbor. millitary gun supply make them with 16 in barrel long and chamber in 7.62x25 only--no 9mm version. they also offer a 10 round drum magazine or stick magazine to comply with hi-cap magazine law. i have previously contact tnem before the gun was for sale. though about gettingone myself. price is around 700-750.
the interornance arms has both 9mm and 7.62x25 version. but their legal 16 inch barrel stick out pass the original barrel shrould/ heatshield making it look awakward. The military supply version barrel is evenly with the shrould/heat shield- look best and look original. best version to get.
we should do a group buy on this item. anyone in for one? i want one.?Comment

I pre-ordered a PPSh 41 through Military Gun Supply, but they still have not shipped it out. They are California legal, they just can't ship the magazines. Luckily, I have some PPSh stick and drum magazines from before the ban.Comment

Well mine is almost done, I can't find my old post. Goto Nevada and gut a drum and weld a CZ52 mag body into it. I just have to figure out how to get the damn thing to feed right.sigpic

I don't know about the aftermarket guns, but the PPSh41 and PPS43 are different designs IIRC. You can't even use PPSh stick mags in a PPS.
Go for a Tokarev-chambered one. It's better than 9mm.

The PPSh43 mag does not work in the 41 model; the 41 model has "wings." MSG sells the Wise Lite Arms's PPSh41 with an extended shroud and a 16" barrel (not and extension welded on).
Here is an old picture of my PPSh41 project. As you can see, the shroud is extended and I opted to weld a barrel extension.

Here is the PPSh41 trunnion. The 43 model is round if I recall.
