For rifles, try Omega Weapons Systems.

"Bore is in bad shape" http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=159649570
          Revolvers are not pistols

pistol nouna handgun whose chamber is integral with the barrel
Calling a revolver a "pistol" is like calling a magazine a "clip", calling a shotgun a rifle, or a calling a man a woman.

I personally have never seen a Chinese-manufactured Mauser that was in what I'd call good shape. And the FN-manufactured ones are about as worn out as they could be. Somewhere there must be a nice one, but all I've seen were "rode hard and put away wet" and stayed wet for decades.

That Iranian Mauser they have on the RCArms site about 1/2 way down the page is mighty tempting ;-)

I'll see if I can find the American Rifleman that had the article on Chinese mausers

I wouldn't call the 53 Type or the 56 Type "knock offs". Mauser needs to be identified as a rifle or a pistol. Rifles are more commonly searched as Chiang Kai Shek or "chinese mauser" on gunbroker. As far as knockoffs.....I'd say the Chinese made VZ24.

I saw one clean Chinese Mauser on auction. For it's final price, you'd think it had a gold ingot in the stock.

Indeed. I keep eying the Iraqi with markings from 4 countries.
