Remington Model 24 .22 short

Mom found a Remington Model 24 .22 short in the closet. Wraped in paper it seems to be in excellent shape. Found how to remove barrel and trigger asemgly. Has a date of Oct. 1916 on it. Found they were made early 20's to 30's? Any more info on them? Are they worth anything? Will try and post pics later.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Parlor Gun is a term used for smaller .22cal short rifles mfg around the turn of the century for shooting parlors and arcades. There is a group that collects them, I don't know enough about them to help you much.

Browning patent, same rifle made by Browning later in Belgium and later in Japan by Miroku.

There should be a date code on the barrel, maybe under the wood. Came in several grades:
24A Standard
24C Special
24D Peerless
24E Expert
24F Premier
