SVT-40 Trigger Guard

Anyone encountered a SVT-40 with the trigger guard serial removed and reblued?

Also, does the paint on this mag look original?

That guard switch could have been done at any time over last 70 years.
The bottom of the mag should not be painted. It should be blued. No?

I know my German G43s have painted mags...I am not familiar with the SVT-40.

bottom of my svt mag doesnt look like that.. not sure
as for the serial numbers, that can happen (like said) throughout history, is your rifle a finn capture or russian refurb?
