    Question about gun shows

I've been to only one gunshow before and it was the Glendale show a few years back. I thought it was pretty well done with a lot of vendors, I'm just curious how would the upcoming show in Costa Mesa on March 27-28 compare? http://www.gunshows-usa.com/california.htm Do they typically have a good selection of C&R rifles?

Just to clarify, what exactly is the law when it comes to selling a C&R rifle at a show? If I buy from a vendor, do I have to wait 10 days and pay DROS? How about when I get it from a private seller? It's the last day I'm in town and I would really hate if I needed to wait.

My understanding is anything from an FFL01 needs DROS and a 10 day wait.
Private party if both are CA residence is Cash and Carry.
I know the rules don't make sense but them's the rules.

Almost all of them. If you're not licensed and selling modern guns, you have to go find someone there to do the transfer for both of you.
It cannot be inherited, nor can it ever be purchased.
You and no one alive can buy it for any price. It is impossible to rent and cannot be lent.

The Costa Mesa show is bigger. I've purchased a cash and carry rifle there. Theres typically a decent amount of C&R stuff there, usually way overpriced.

the fairground is attempting to keep people from doing cash and carry transactions. The legal team of lawyers are afraid of any legal responsibility/implications for giving people a place to exchange firearms without documentation.

While it is not law, it's certainly the "house rules" if you will.
