Lets hear some solutions to this problem?

I have had my C&R for about a year. What do you guys do about the adult signature required when we receive our rifles by UPS or others? I work when UPS comes and have to usually leave work early to meet the truck. My boss doesn't like this too much and thinks I have had too many "dentist appointments" in the last year. My neighbors arent exactly the coolest people around so thats a no-go. Is there any other options?

You should be able to pick up the item if you missed the delivery - although I believe it will have to be the next day. On your ticket they leave, you can call them and setup that option.

      UPS Store

Go get yourself a box at your local UPS store. That's what I'm going to do now that I have my C&R and when I get my FFL. That way I can pick up that stuff anytime
      I won't be wronged
      I won't be insulted
And I won't be laid a hand on.
I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.....John Wayne

Yes, just don't forget to get your "shipping" address on your 03 or 01 FFL, so the person shipping to you can send them to the UPS Store/other location.

I used to work at UPS, just call the main UPS phone number 1-800-pick-ups (I think) and request a "Same Day Will Call." You'll need the tracking number to do this. That way you can come and pick up the package the same day that it was supposed to be delivered. Same Day Will Calls take place between 5pm and 8pm when the drivers return to the hub.

The other option is to call the number on the "we tried to leave the package but you weren't here" tracking slip and pick up the rifles the next day at your local UPS depot. Or you can type that number into the website and pick up the rifles the next day. That is what I have done. If you know the tracking number ahread of time, you can do the same day will call that no2statism suggests.

As long as you know the tracking number, you have pickup options for the evening it was supposed to be delivered to your house. If you don't then you have to use the slip and you can pickup anytime the next day.
