Was at burro for some fun on the weekend and finally took my Blackpowder barrell for my Mossberg 500 out to the range. What a hoot to shoot and the looks I got from some of the other people were hiliarious. Especially since its normally my HD/gamer gun set up with a sidesaddle and ghost rings sights, and a single point sling.

Like I told someone who asked what it was. Its 1800's tacticool

I need to do the black powder more often.

I finally got to shoot my in line BP rifle at 100yds last week. It's a 50cal that I use 45cal lead sabot's.. it shot 5 shots in a 3" group!! Using those fiber optic glow sights... or what ever they are called....I love my BP rifle too! especially with the Pyrodex pellets!

The WTF reaction of people as I was shoving a ramrod down the barrel of what looked like a shot gun was pretty funny. THe RSO really had no idea what to say.
