In your Collection of M1's ...

    Gentlemen,
...Garand's which one do you favor the most. What draws you to that rifle. Is it a safe queen or your best shooter. Or is it something about it that you can't put your finger on.
    Thanks again

Well mine is a mix master built by me, so it's my shooter. Never had a real safe queen.

      I don't have one... yet.

But I got to shoot one (some really nice guy at Richmond, if that's anybody here, thanks!!), and want a shooter. I've never been interested in safe queens, just like I've never been interested in ultra-rare cars that I can't actually drive.

My favorite is my HRA because it has the prettiest stock . But it's a toss up which one I take on a range trip.

            My Fav

I like my light colored HRA (top) and my IHC. I used my HRA during matches since its stock is a little thinner and easier to grasp and hold in tight.

out of my 21 Garands.. it's really hard to say.. as far as my shooter Garands.. it would have to be one of my 4 digits.... it is virtually unbeatable in Garand matches... as far as looks... my IHC.. as far as correctness.. my first WRA... and as of right now.. my least favorite is my 2nd WRA with a Criterion barrel I installed.... It is giving me fits in the accuarcy department.....I'm going to strip it down to the barreled action and figure iwhat's wrong from the ground up.....

                My CMP 1942 Springfield M1

This is my Service Grade CMP 1942 Springfield M1. It has a new Boyd stock. It's big, heavy, and accurate. It's one of those guns that I will never sale. If I ever find myself in a SHTF situation, it's coming with me for sure!

Hi all, second post so here we go.
                  21 Garands! I'm impressed!
My favorite is a HRA. It's got the worst bore but it's the best shooter, with handloads.
I've also had it the longest. I only have 3..... so far.
                  M1A's are another story.
