Also, stay clear of Greek and Danish clips as you will have loading issues. Buy USGI only. Danich clips are unmarked. Greek clips do have markings as do US clips. US clip marking information can be found by Google.The only thing that is worse than an idiot, is someone who argues with one.Comment

Providing CMP sells clipped ammo again, I would just buy that. Some of the clips may be a little rough to insert initially, but a little steel-wooling fixes that.Comment

ive gotten all of mine from korean surplus ammo and the army surplus store. they used to be a dollar each at the local surplus, then they went up to 1.50. but theres usually a billion of them in a big tub, at pretty much every surplus store ive been to...Comment

Just got my CMP Garand as well.
Have not been able to find any clips locally. I guess I will have to order some online as well.
Need to find a couple of bandoleers as well.Comment

Big 5 may have some laying around. If your local store doesn't have them, they can probably order some from other stores for you. It probably isn't in the quantity you're looking for though.Comment
