    mosin pe scope mounted

Well i got my mosin back from the gunsmith finally came out nice. Its a 1936 hex Tula i installed the huber trigger on it tonight the stock is not in great shape but i dont care it will be a fun gun. Yeah i could have got a gun already done but i had fun tinkering with it and piecing it together. This was the accumounts kit i have a extra round receiver mount and screws in the sale section

That is my favorite Mosin Nagant Scope, looks great. Search the Gun Shows and even Ebay you might find a buy on another stock if you feel you have to change it. Also find the Sling there.

well i sent the bolt in to the guy on ebay and he modified it for me i bought the kit from accumounts and had a local gunshop drill an tap the holes. I possibly could have done it but rather had them do it was only 68.00 to drill all 6 holes tap and bore sight it for me. I installed the huber trigger i had to slightly trim the stock to have the mount sit all the way on the top of the reciever about 1/16 of an inch

Huber triggers are great! Did the bolt guy also modify the safety?

I've got that same bipod. Just modified the clamp to attatch to the bayonet lug instead of clamping on to the barrell and messing with the barrel harmonics (originally had it clamped to a Hakim barrel, and it REALLY changed the POI) Nice settup you got there. Congrats!

the PE is a much better scope than the PU, I believe Ivan copied the German pre WW2 Zielvier.

Very nice, I am thinking of the same set up on one of my M39's, thanks for posting.

I thought the same for one of my M39's because they are more accurate than 91/30 but just couldn't ruin the much more rare M39's. But I did mount two PE in 91/30's.

You could also use one of Darrell's scout mounts http://parallaxscurioandrelicfirearm...ilibility.html

It replaces the rear sight leaf and does not permantly alter your rifle. Then just get a LER (pistol) scope and you are good to go. Below is that setup out at Burro yesterday
