Your talking about the British Bren machine gun that has the clip on the top?

I've fired one, kicks like a mule when you are about 12 years old. They used to be common in the Army cadet units in the UK.

I've always wanted to say this...

The Bren Gun does not have a "clip" on the top. It's a magazine...

                Yes, I've been caught before...
Next to me in the blackness lay my oiled blue steel beauty. The greatest Christmas gift I had ever received, or would ever receive. Gradually, I drifted off to sleep, pringing ducks on the wing and getting off spectacular hip shots.

                      I've seen a fixed mag ZB26/30

I'd imagine a BREN shouldn't be too far off since they come from the same family of guns.

I have a Bren Mk1 parts kit and barrel, for a future build project. Might be a while before I even make a start on it, since I have other projects which are ready to go. A Bren isn't exactly cheap or easy to build, plus 922r US made parts are scarce and pricey.

Life can make you do many things, even kiss a man with a runny nose.

If you significantly alter any of the parts can you just stamp "made in the usa" on them for 922r compliance since you've effectively manufactured your own part?

of course if I put a bullet button like device on it those parts would be USA made - non? Ho wmany parts are needed for 922r - is it 3 or 4?
