    M1 Garand

Has anyone heard any additional information on about 86,000 Garands being released into the U.S. from Korea?
I would really like to get one of these!

Source is the latest issue of Guns and Ammo magazine.

I'd say forget the Korean rifles and wait for the Greek returns to the CMP. I would suggest that everyone wait for a week or two after they are posted so as to get the best rack grade available.

With regard to the ones from Korea, if they are from an importer they will have the import stamp on them, don't think the CMP's are import stamped?

And aren't the greek ones already back home, it was the ammo that wasn't here yet? Or am I mistaken?

Yes, CMP has 19000 Greek returns on site and are beginning to distribute them. Go to the CMP forums and read for yourself.

this is true, I was going to go after a Carbine on GB, but lost the bid, afterwords I saw a post on here and came to the realization that I could have saved over $100 from a CMP gun. (thank you TRICKSTER)

The requirements may seem intimidating, but they really arent. Im an Eagle Scout, so that covered both my affiliation, and range requirements. Pretty simple if you ask me....plus it comes right to your front door!! You cant beat that...who wants to wait 10 days for a gun youve already bought?
