So...
I bought a Big 5 Mosin.
Cleaned it up.
Bore is a bit pitted, no worries.
Checked firing pin with go/no-go gauge---->good to go.
Got 20 rounds for the range....ready to go...but...
Head space...
Checking head space is important.
I understand why.
But is there another way to check other than buying a gauge?
I don't want to be cheap, but I am so excited to get to the range.
Is there another way to check without the gauge, other than hot gas in the face?
