    Question for K31 owners

    Thinking of getting one.

Since GP-11 registers positive in a magnet test, the range that I go to does not allow that.

So, if you all use GP-11, where do you all shoot in So Cal?

    thanks!

i dont use gp11 unless i'm out in the desert.

use the wolf or privi partisan stuff instead. privis especially good for reloading so the folks who are into that say.

i go to Angeles out in tujunga, since its really the only place to enjoy the k31's knack for hitting targets 400 500 nand 600yrds... i cant do that consistently with any of my other guns so i always take the k31 to angeles. the other range i go to, burro canyon in azusa, doesnt have as good facilities; their ranges are 200yrds max. But since they let you shoot produce there, it has its place. sometimes sks'in or svt40'in a few watermelons is just what the dr. ordered.

    where do you shoot?

Or reload like I do. I make 7.5 cases from .284 Winchester cases. They last forever.

I go to Burro or West End. Otherwise the desert. GP-11 is the stuff I can find the easiest and the cheapest, so it is what I buy. Reloading would not save me any money compared to what it costs to buy GP-11.

I pull the bullets from existing GP11 and put in commercial stuff.

            ASR. I like that place.

I checked out Burro Canyon a few years back - it's ok. However, ASR meets my needs, and I get a few cleaning supplies from the reloading store.
