Got the surplus in the clips. No one was home yesterday to sign so will be delivered today.

They have had more orders than they could process in a timely fashion for so long, they may simply be trying to clear up the backlog.
Which means that they really DO have ammo, and are using this interval to clear it.

If they're actually sold out, it's very bad news indeed. But I lean toward the backlog clearance idea because it's very unlikely to deplete stocks of ALL ammo at the same time.

Pure speculation, but hopefully they just need time to catch up and devise a method to sell at a faster rate. Hopefully not a depletion.

Look at it this way. The day they stopped the new orders they still had 90-120 days worth of orders to fill. So in 3-4 months maybe they will have a new estimate as to what (if any) they have left.

I've got 4 unopened cans of the boxed HXP in my stash. That should last a couple years at the rate I shoot my Garand. Been saving the brass and will continue to do that, so if they are truly out, I'll just start loading my own.

That is too bad! Wife was home so all ten cans delivered. Son Gets 6 and I am taking 4 so now we each have 9 cans. Only problem for him is he has to supply ammo for two (his girlfriend is a really good shot. Won't shoot my M1 carbine because it is too small!).
