    SCORE!!!!!!!!!!*UPDATE*

I scored me another 4 digit receiver!!! CMP auction.. got it for $505!!!!! the last year or so the 4 digits have been going for $700+ There's a lower 4 digit that is over $600 now with a week to go!!

I'm thinking of building afull tilt JCG legal Garand with this one... Kreiger GI contour barrel... and have DGR fit a good stock set to it.. or really splurge and get one of Fro's GI new stock sets..... hhmm....

Here's my other 2 4 digits built using NIW GI barrels and older milled parts.

                Very nice.

Aimsurplus has these Garands (Kreiger match barrel, new Boyd stock, re-parkerized) for $1100. Is that worth it? Is this just a really nice looking and shooting Garand with virtually no collector value?

If you were to buy a beat up Garand and tricked it out, you would probably have close to that it it.

I've never bought anything worrying about resale value.

                        HP scores again!!

                        How sweet it is!
Amazing to see that 5xxx out of the approx 6 mil made.
                        AND you've got 3!!!!
Next thing you'll tell us is you found a 3digit
I'm working on 5 digits, and recently got a nice 31xxx and some correct parts with it.
A while back there was some repo gas trap parts kits available.
Can you see any point in sinking the $$$$ into one??
                        Regards
