I went to Reddings, Culver City today to browse the C&R. It's Saturday so I didn't even try to get any service; you'd think it was Dec 1999 all over again!
Anyway I looked at their Garands and 1903s and was shocked at the prices they were asking. I saw a couple of WWII era Garands for $1300, a 1903 for $2500 (it was some sort of match rifle), and a sniper Garand for $2500!
Tarnation! I hope everyone takes a look at CMP before they pay those nutty
prices!
