I asked about putting removable mags on SKSs back in December. We were told to "wait till 2007" before that could be answered.

Now that its the new year, can a removable mag now be fitted on an SKS in Kalifornia and still be legal?

The most common/cheapest "Simonov type" rifles on the market now are the Yugoslavian surplus M59 and M59/66 carbines, also known as the Zastava M59 or M59/66.
