    another 91/30 finds a home, year of manuf. 1930, hex receiver, nice wood, Izhevsk arsenal and most important of all nice rifling. it` cleaning up real nice. more cheap shooting too be enjoyed!

      Big 5? Picked mine up yesterday and took her out today. 1925, hex, OK wood (I'll make it nice when I have time ), Izzy, nice rifling, zero problems, $89.10, and, most importantly, a HOOT to sHOOT. And my shoulder's still a bit sore .

          What are you going to do to your stock? Mine is pretty decent condition, but a nylon brush actually removed some of the varnish, so I'm going to re-varnish the whole thing. I think I want to go slightly red, so might put a redwood/red mahogany stain on like this guy did: http://www.vadriven.com/forums/showthread.php?t=243187
