1941 BYF P08 Luger - Final Reno Buy

The last thing we got in Reno. This was more for the wife, she has always wanted a P08 Luger. This thing was a mess, but it cleaned up okay and shot fantastically. Very nice trigger. shot to point of aim. We were shooting plastic soda bottles at 25 yards with it.

Nice Luger. My dad has one, but we've never shot it...
    Very cool.

That is almost a crime. Fine weapons like fine car, plains and trains should be used. Leave the art for the hippies, shoot it!!!!

Yeah, they always have a bunch of Lugers. Most of them are way out of my price range, this one was reasonable and all the numbers matched. My wife had wanted one for years so we said what the hell. She spent almost all day Sunday getting decades of grime off of it. By late Sunday we went down to the little range we have at our house and shot it. What a hoot.

Those WWII Lugers are more rare... Nice find!
Next to me in the blackness lay my oiled blue steel beauty. The greatest Christmas gift I had ever received, or would ever receive. Gradually, I drifted off to sleep, pringing ducks on the wing and getting off spectacular hip shots.

Off topic, but how much land do you need to have to have your own range?

How would you compare this gun to a Ruger? :P
