    c&r app

ok I final sent off my app today. now the wait begins. how long has it generally taken for them to get processed lately? with the way the govt seems to feel towards veterans should PTSD effect my outcome? I can handle my own affairs and all so I don't think I've been reported to anyone.

Mine just came in today, actually. I put my app in almost exactly 3 weeks ago. Generally it seems to take 2-3 weeks.

Sorry to hear you're having some troubles, I'm an OIF vet myself so I've seen my share of that among friends. Nothing to be ashamed of and I don't know of any way that it would affect your 03 issuance. To my knowledge the background check that's done for an 03FFL is the same one that's done when you DROS a gun, so if you pass that then you'll get your 03.

        Best of luck!

they take it anyways... they'll do all the checks they need to do and if everything is cool, you'll get your license in the mail in a few weeks, a big packet will follow a week later.

They take your cash first, no matter what, usually two or three days after you mail the application. Then they send the application over to the person who actually begins the process, but it still can sit on that person's desk for a few weeks before they actually start working on it.

i would use a real address.

i dont think people will ship guns to PO boxes. so if your FFL's address is a PO box, you might have problems. but i'm not 100% sure on this.

The FFL should have both your mailing address and premises address listed on it. I'd assume tht your FFL would would be mailed to your mailing address that you provide on the app.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?
