    I messed up

I got over excited on gun broker and ended up winning 2 Winchester 94 carbines. I was certain I was going to be out bid on the ?65 so I put a bigger bid in on a ?28 carbine and woke up this morning with both won. The person bidding against me for the ?65 gave up at my max bid. So guess I?ll need to load up extra 30-30. Pics to follow once I receive both

I don't think you messed up at all.

        Congrats!

I just picked them up today thanks to that pesky 03/coe and the post 64 is smoother than the pre 64. Took the ?1928 eastern carbine ? apart and the barrel is stamped 29 on it. I Dont Know if that?s a date code or what but it?s nice and clean except the finish on the receiver. I?ll try to get some nice pictures next weekend or the weekend after that as my place has no visually pleasing locations to take nice pictures of them.

The wood on both examples are very nice. I love nice figured wood on my old stuff. Nothing showy but just enough grain and dents to show it?s been there done that.
