1903 Stock question

I'm getting close to buying a 1903 and want to put a new stock on it. When did the 1903 stocks stop being straight and get a pistol grip? I like the straight look but want it to have the kind of stock it had when it was new.

I think it was 1929 when they switched to the pistol grip stock. Then for the M1903A3 they went back to a straight stock.
