I ordered an Expert Grade. Anyone got one? What can I expect other than their description?

Yup got one and am really happy with it. You can tell my receiver had a little bit of putting and was re-parkerized but all the other parts are new with a new CMP stock. You get a massive CMP plastic clause, manual, certificate of authenticity and 1 en-bloc clip. My advice is shop around for them. Sarco used to have them for $1.50 awhile back but then show out of stock right now -
You can expect a really nice pretty much perfect M1 rifle.
The first M1 I ever bought was an expert. It was beautiful, pretty much the closest thing to a brand new M1 rifle.
I ended up selling it after I bought a few service grades. But I kind of wish I kept it. It was a beautiful firearm.Last edited by Tere_Hanges; 03-09-2024, 11:14 PM.CRPA and NRA member.

En Bloc clips - last month, I couldn't find them for less than 4 bucks a pop.
Sticker shock, since in my memory, some people wouldn't even pick them up after they shot 8 rounds.Comment

Is the expert the same as what they used to call the special grade?
When I ordered mine it was (possibly) re-parked receiver, new barrel, new wood. It looked like a new rifle more or less.
Its always shot great and still looks beautiful.Comment
