I don't shoot mine much but glad I have it. It's a mechanical work of art, Radom made some of the best Cold War era pistols.

Glad I got mine a few years back. Really need to get out to WEGC, sadly my little sedan isn't great at crossing when the water's high.

I briefly owned a couple of Makarovs including a PA63 and they were painful and unpleasant. Ended up parting with them because I just did not enjoy shooting them whatsoever. The P64 is even smaller and lighter. I can only imagine how tough they are to shoot. That said, they have the "James Bond" look and I still wish I had picked one up a few years ago when they could be had for about $100 or even slightly less.

Re: harsh recoil, you can get a new recoil spring that gives you lighter recoil from Wolff?s. It made my PA63 more tolerable to shoot.

Spring kit and slip on grip helps . To me the size is the selling point. I will put up with the kick.

You guys find the P64 to have significant recoil? I never thought 9x18 recoil was much in any of my guns chambered for it. The P64 is very small and 9x18 Mak is a wimpy round and expensive to shoot too so I stopped carrying it on my CCW a few years ago. It's fun to plink with once in a while and I love how it looks and how it was made. For that round, I find my Bulgarian Makarov is more fun to shoot but I'm glad I have a P64.

I always get the urge to sell it. I post it on here, and after a few days I get antsy and take it down. It’s a great little pistol. I also don’t fire mine much but I still really like it.

Same way I feel about mine. I had one, shot it and kept it on my CCW for a few years. Sold it during divorce, missed it and bought this one. I too don't fire mine much either but it's a great little pistol.

I got an email yesterday from Atlantic that they have some in stock. Looks like they are sold out now but the site says "more on the way" if anyone is interested.
