    What's a good C&R handgun?

Getting the itch to start collecting C&R firearms again.

Are there any decent C&R handguns out there that have relatively easy to obtain ammo? No 1911, I have my fair share.

You looking for military surplus or something from the civilian sector? Military surplus is generally going to be expensive, but there are some Eastern block guns that are a bit more affordable like Yugo M57’s and some, but not all Makarov’s. If money isn’t an issue maybe a WWII era P38.

As for civilian guns, there are a ton of C&R Smith and Wesson’s and Colt’s out there.

A CZ 82 is a good choice, but it has 12 rounds, which is forbidden in California.

Just saw the price on the German Luger at cogunsales, far too steep for me!

How's the Tokarev and variants? Walther P38?

Honestly. I was hoping to find a c&r high-power for a fair price.

Edit: didn't realize everyone posted already. Any other good sites I can check out? I know of jgsales and Cogunsales.

No more than $800 ideally, with relatively easy to get ammo.

You can find a Star model B and a Beretta M1951 well within your budget.

I'll check ou the 1951. Been looking at guns on your list.

I know I said easy to ge ammo, but I saw a nice Polish Tokarev and the CZ 82 and CZ 52.

                            Thanks!

                              I enjoy shooting:
                              Bromhandle Mauser C96
                              Colt SAA
                              Browning Hi-Power 9mm
                              Luger
                              Walther PPK/P38
                              Webley revolvers - .455 or .38-200
                              I have S&W 1917 in .45LC that is a ball to shoot
Cap and Ball anything is fun.
