Danish Krag / Front Sight HELP PLEASE

I have a beautiful Danish Krag I inherited. Prestine condition except no front sight. It is 7.5mm dovetail I believe or .295". If you know any source for DANISH Krag parts I would appreciate the help. I tried Numrich with no luck. Thanks guys.

Your best bet is to watch gunbroker, and take your time. It may be quite a while until one comes up. Such is life. Just do a search every few days and one will pop up sooner or later.

I expect your chances of finding a sight for the krag is just slightly better than my finding a bolt for my pre-war 22 mauser !
I can help you with photos and measurements from my m1989 danish krag sight, if that is what you have. Perhaps you can make a good substitute.
Mine DK is a pretty good specimen, a barracks box bring back. GI joe cut the stock to fit into the box. Fortunately he cut it under the upper band so only the pickiest of experts can notice. This was a fairly common solution for bringing back long weapons after the war.

If you have measurements/ pictures I would really appreciate some help. I was thinking maybe a Mauser 98 sight could be modified to fit. Not sure of proper height. I think it may be a 7.5mm dovetail??? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
