I think this would be your best bet http://www.aimsurplus.com/acatalog/303Brit.html I'm reloading .303 and I need more brass so I'll probably order some of that. Surplus is pretty much dried up.

For 303, reloading is the way to go. You will always have it available, and it will be much better quality than any surplus you can find (which you can't find anymore anyway).

the only .303 ammo you might find is the Pakistani POF Click....Boom stuff. Some of it aint bad but you can tell the cordite strings are old if you pull a round apart. that stuff is as corrosive as it gets, clean as soon as you can when you use it. Atleast that was the case for me

Nah, Cordite lasts forever. It is a wonderful propellant from a storage standpoint. I had some rounds from the 1920's that worked great when I took them out to play with. The issue with the Pakistani or Iraqi stuff is that the primers are older than sand. Also, cordite isn't corrosive. Again, that is the primers on that junk. Cordite is errosive though. Meaning that it is hot, and wears the rifling in the barrel significantly faster than straight nitrocellulose-based powders do. They managed to correct this problem with the British rounds towards the end of the .303's service life by decreasing the ammount of nitroglycerin and increasing the ammount of nitrocellulose in the mixture. But I don't know if any of the other makers of .303 changed their recipes to follow suit. My guess would be not. Oh and just for fun, try taking a strand of cordite and whacking it with a hammer on a hard surface. The first whack usually flattens it out. The second whack usually ignites it to a slow, smoldering burn. It is kind of ammusing...

I've still got about 100 rounds of South African...82 I think. Non-corrosive, berdan primed. Real good stuff.

Where are you located? I have 20 or 30 rounds and a bag of stripper clips I don't need anymore.

Have you tried the Hornady 150gr SSTs? I'm using them in my M91/30 and they're pretty great. I think they are .311". I get mine from grafs.

I use Remington 180gr RN bulk bullets for .303 plinking ammo. For bargain basement .303 reloads I use pulled bullets from dud and mangled 7.62x54 rounds that I recover from the range bucket. For higher end reloads I use the Sierra 174gr BT .303 bullets. I also still have about 1k or so of .303 ball that I dip into now and again: Winchester, FNM, PP, South African, S&B.

I picked up some Privi made .303 at Tabor's last weekend. I've been seeing plenty of Privi but can't find anything else, including the dreaded POF!

I use a Hornady bullet for my hunting load, but it is the 0.312" 150gr SP...#3120. That on top of 38 gr of IMR4064 is deadly accurate in my 1913 SMLE.
