The smell of the air after firing a muzzle loader loaded with Goex is amazing. And the smoke out the barrel is pretty cool too.

Is this old stock or it it new manufacturer?

Good to know. I had to get cannon powder and they were out of everything so I ended up picking up a good amount from Powderinc while on a roadtrip.

New manufacturer. Not sure where it's made now.

Same place in Louisiana. Midway has some now. It is supposed to be just as good as before. 3fg could be the ticket. But I?d really like to get some old eynsford, not out yet or some Swiss, I need the power.

I'm using Schuetzen (German) from Graf. They also sell Swiss (expensive) and their own "Graf" which is made by Schuetzen.

They don't seem to have the new GOEX yet.
And very recently ran out of (1075) (sized inbetween 10 and 11) percussion caps (they had them for a couple years ending a week or maybe a month ago).

GOEX is a dirtier powder because it was mainly produced for use by the army for artillery, rather than small arms. I prefer any other BP. You will pay way more if purchased in a store for any black powder, than online. Grafs has Schuetzen, Swiss, and Graf (made by Schuetzen).

Graf & Sons, the reloading authority, has a wide selection of reloading supplies, shooting supplies, ammo and more.

Midway has all the Goex real black powders. See the deals forum about how to save 10% (which can offset some or probably all of the Hazmat fee, depending how many pounds you buy).

An unopened can of real black will last 100 years, it won't go bad.
