Anybody own a Revolutionary War era musket and bayonet, either reproduction or relic, especially a Brown Bess?
I'd like to invite you to share Revolutionary War era weapons with the public this October 31 and Nov 1 2009 at South Bay Rod and Gun Club in Dulzura, just east of San Diego, at this event where we will discuss American Revolutionary War history:
If you have Revolutionary War era weapons, please consider sharing them with the public, contact me if you'd like to help this effort in San Diego.
And by the way, if you live just about anywhere in California or the US and want to share your Revolutionary War era weapons with the Appleseed Project, just check the schedule for an event near you and contact the event organizer to discuss this. Statewide event schedule here:
Thanks for sharing a vital part of our heritage with this generation, most of whom have never seen a musket except in movies. After seeing formidable British steel, people today understand better what the colonists faced and so glimpse the temperament of the Founders' generation.
Revolutionary War reenactors, in period dress, shoot for free at Appleseed events, paying only standard host range fees. .
